Everyone loves a sunrise session! Waking up bright and early to beat the crowds was the easy part of this engagement photoshoot. Okay Sylvia…. so what was the hard part you may ask? Well, on this particular March morning, it was an icy 39 degrees. We could still see our breath when we arrived at the Jefferson Memorial in Washington D.C. Teeth chattering, shaking hands, it was brutal! But hey, even with the cold, Alexine and Caleb brought the heat.
Alexine & Caleb,
Congratulations on your engagement! This is such an exciting season in your life and I am so honored to be able to have captured those magical moments for you to treasure forever. You are both so fun loving and free spirited. I loved how you would finish eachothers sentences and laugh while telling the story of how you got engaged. (Caleb actually proposed on Alexine’s father’s birthday and we all laughed about how he was so excited he couldn’t wait one more day.) With all the love in the world, it’s clear that you two were made for eachother. Wishing you both many years of love and laughter!
Much Love,
Sylvia
